BMS runs short courses courses for:
At BMS anything can happen, as we have turned the traditional learning model on its head
The media industry is changing fast, but most institutions are teaching exactly the same things as they were last year, and the year before, and the year before that. Courses also often include tons of theory and very little practice, which is just what people don't need in today's economic climate.
It can be difficult for traditional institutions to keep up with industry changes because they use teachers who spend the majority of their time in the classroom. In contrast, BMS hires experts who are active in their field to create and deliver courses. Our experts make a living because they have skills that are in demand and that is why they are the very best people to learn from.
BMS courses are all about hands-on doing, so if you want to learn theory, buy a book. If our experts talk about theory, it is always when they are showing how things work in practice. Some subject areas aren't thought of as being hands-on, for example creating a media strategy. In these situations BMS will expect learners to bring real life challenges with them, so real solutions can be developed during their time with us.
All of our courses are intensive as people these days haven't got time or money to waste. Come prepared to work extemely hard and also to have fun socially, which is an integral part of the BMS learning experience.
